02 — The studio
Twill Studio builds AI agents and automations for very small businesses: trades, clinics, shops, agencies, consultants and people running a business of one. We learn how your day actually works, then build the agent that runs the parts of it that do not need you.
Our own engineering practice is agentic. The tooling that writes, reviews and ships our code is the same kind of thing we hand to clients, which is why a build takes weeks rather than quarters. It also means we have used what we sell before we sold it.
We work with small businesses on purpose. Enterprise agent platforms are priced per seat and sold to people who will never answer the phone themselves. An owner who does answer the phone needs one thing that works on Monday morning, on the accounts they already have, at a price they can see before they say yes.
So we quote fixed, build on your logins, document every rule the agent follows, and leave. If you want us back you hire us back. There is no retainer holding the thing together.
